The Rising Sun is the boarded up pub at Rushey Green next the noodle restaurant and opposite Blockbusters, 4 houses and 25 flats are proposed.

The demolition of the Rising Sun Public House, 88 Rushey Green SE6 and the construction of

2, three bedroom three storey and
2, four bedroom three storey houses,

1, five storey block comprising
6, one bedroom,
12, two bedroom and
7, three bedroom self-contained flats,

with commercial space (530 square metres) (Use Class A1) on the ground floor and basement, fronting Rushey Green, together with associated landscaping, provision of two disabled parking spaces and 30 bicycle parking bays, refuse stores, and provision of a new vehicular access onto Wildfell Road and pedestrian access onto Morena Street.

Very good use of that big courtyard I'd say. I always thought that it was an incredibly wasted space.
Pity about the Rising Sun itself but it had become quite dodgy, I feel more sorry for the dismissal of the Plough and Arrow actually.
